Several OSC committee members were honoured to be involved in the unveiling of the wonderful statue of John Trollope MBE, at the Foundation Park today prior to the home game against Shrewsbury.

John was joined by a large group of Swindon Fans, by his great friend Don Rogers, Johns wider family, Foundation Staff as well as senior members of the Swindon Town Hierarchy to celebrate the unveiling and Johns big day.  As well as those already mentioned the group was joined by Club Sponsors and members of the various STFC based groups who support the football club and foundation, and have helped massively to get this wonderful statue created and installed.

The word legend is overused these days but its fair to say that John Trollope MBE is indeed a real Swindon Town legend. John has undertaken many roles in his lifetime at the club, including player, manager, coach just to name a few.

John is a very humble man and it was a wonderful day to see his statue unveiled at Foundation Park, John and his family should be exceptionally proud of the wonderful man and servant to Swindon Town and the foundation he is.

We hope you enjoyed the day John, the statue is a wonderful celebration and accolade for such a very special man in the history of our wonderful football club.
