“Yesterday we were joined by members from Swindon Town Supporters Club with a generous donation of activity packs for our Older Persons Wards and Children’s Ward.
All of the items included in the play packs were kindly donated by members of the Official Supporters Club and carefully put together into bags which can be distributed to patients.
These packs will go a long way in helping to keep patients engaged, entertained, and occupied during their time on the wards, providing comfort and enjoyment when it is needed most.
We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by the Swindon Town Football Club Official Supporters Club members” 
Some of the OSC Committee and Mel Cook representing the members/fans, took gift bags to Teal Ward for the adults and books & sensory toys for the Children’s Ward at the GWH.
These were made up from the donations made by the fans at the latter end of last season.
We also made up a basket for the nurses to keep on their station of various toiletries that we could not fit into the gift bags (and a few sweets ).
).Thank you to all the members who donated, the Ward Managers were really grateful, and I am sure the patients will enjoy.
