Swindon Town supporters came together in the Legends Lounge on Tuesday evening for a memorable celebration of the club’s standout performers, as the Swindon Town Official Supporters Club hosted its annual end-of-season awards.
The event brought fans and players under one roof to recognise the contributions and achievements that have defined the campaign, with two names in particular dominating the honours.
Forward Aaron Drinan enjoyed a remarkable evening, collecting both the prestigious Roger Bunce Official Supporters Club Player of the Season award and the Swindon Advertiser Player of the Season. His consistent performances, work rate, and crucial goals throughout the season clearly resonated with both supporters and local media alike.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Connor Ripley was equally celebrated, picking up an impressive trio of awards. Ripley was named Junior Reds Player of the Season, SAS Travel Player of the Season, and Disabled Supporters Association Player of the Season. His reliability between the posts and a string of standout displays earned him widespread recognition across multiple supporter groups.
The evening highlighted not only individual excellence but also the strong connection between the team and its supporters. Events like these continue to underline the vital role fans play in the life of the club, providing unwavering backing throughout the season.”
